Chelsea fans on Twitter react to Hiddink news conference

Guus Hiddink held his first news conference since returning to Chelsea as interim manager on Wednesday – and seemed to impress many Blues fans on Twitter.

The Dutchman spoke about Chelsea’s problems this season, the team’s lack of confidence, the possibility of bringing Didier Drogba back and how to bring the best out of Eden Hazard. 

Hiddink did not duck the issue of the jeers aimed at certain players as their names were read out ahead of last week’s win over Sunderland, saying supporters had a right to express their views.

One player targeted was Cesc Fabregas, who on Wednesday took to social media to deny he had rebelled against former boss Jose Mourinho, and fans on Twitter were keen to put the past behind them.
