Zouma and Ramires linked with potential moves to Italy

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea, QPR and Fulham..

Roma want Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma, Italian media reports claim.

Walter Sabatini, Roma’s sporting director, is reported to have held talks with the Blues about a potential loan deal.

Reports in Italy also say Juventus have made an enquiry about Ramires.

The Brazilian midfielder is one of a number of Chelsea players Juventus have been linked with this summer.

The Italian press previously suggested Juve were keen to sign Ramires and now say that interest has been rekindled because midfielders Sami Khedira and Kwadwo Asamoah are out injured.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is reluctant to sell the player and has previously suggested he will not leave Stamford Bridge.

There has been speculation over Ramires’ future for some time

German newspaper Bild has reported that Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign Ghana left-back Abdul Baba Rahman from Augsburg in a £21m deal.

The Sun have subsequently reported that Baba Rahman is on his way to Stamford Bridge for £17m.

The Daily Mail say the deal will involve an initial £14m, with a possible £3.5m to follow and £700,000 after Rahman plays 20 games, plus a further £3.5m after he has made 100 appearances.

Meanwhile, Speculation continues over the future of Charlie Austin, with several clubs supposedly vying to sign the QPR striker.

Newcastle, West Ham and Tottenham have all been tipped to move for Austin, while Everton have also been linked with him.

Speaking to the Evening Standard, QPR director of football Les Ferdinand reiterated that only Leicester have made an approach for Austin.

Ferdinand also confirmed that the club plan to offer Austin a new contract if he is not sold before the transfer window closes – and denied recent speculation that Rangers could be willing to lower their asking price to £13m.

Fulham want Crystal Palace midfielder Jonny Williams, according to the Mail.

Wolves and Bristol City are also said to be interested in the 21-year-old Wales international, who has been troubled by injuries.

Palace are reportedly looking to loan Williams out until January in order to give him first-team football.
