A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving QPR…
Newcastle could make a move for Matt Phillips, The Telegraph say.
West London Sport recently revealed that West Brom and Bournemouth and more recently Watford have expressed an interest in the QPR winger.
And it is claimed that Newcastle could turn their attention to Phillips if they are unable to agree a deal with Tottenham to sign Andros Townsend.
Liverpool are lining up QPR goalkeeper Robert Green as competition for Simon Mignolet, the Evening Standard claim.
West London Sport recently revealed Rangers were looking to offload Green because a clause in his contract means he will land a new deal if he makes 30 appearances this season. He has so far made 25.
The Standard suggest Bournemouth and Crystal Palace are also interested in the 35-year-old, with Palace prepared to allow Alex McCarthy to go back to QPR.
The Derbyshire Telegraph, meanwhile, reckon Burton Albion’s Nasser El Khayati is a potential replacement for Charlie Austin at Loftus Road.
It is claimed that El Khayati, a key player for Burton during Rangers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s time in charge of the Brewers, is attracting interest from a number of clubs.
Birmingham City are also said to be keen on the 26-year-old, who has scored eight goals this season.
