Chelsea are close to signing Reading defender Michael Hector, according to Sky Sports News HQ.
The 23-year-old has attracted interest from a number of clubs and Crystal Palace were recently linked with him.
Sky say Hector is set to join the Blues in a deal worth £4m.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reports that Chelsea youngster Islam Feruz could join Hibernian on a season-long loan.
The 19-year-old, who was on Celtic’s books before joining the Blues, is also said to be wanted by a number of English Championship and League One clubs.
