A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving the area’s clubs…
Chelsea see Liverpool striker Christian Benteke as a potential alternative signing should they fail to bring Romelu Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge, according to The Times.
The newspaper reports that former Chelsea forward Lukaku, sold to Everton in 2014, is incoming Blues boss Antonio Conte’s first-choice target this summer.
But it is claimed that Benteke has been earmarked as possible back-up option should Lukaku go elsewhere.
Meanwhile, reports in France and Marquinhos’ native Brazil continue to link him with a possible move to Chelsea.
Manchester City and Manchester United are also said to be interested in the 22-year-old defender.
And the Daily Express have again linked Fulham’s Ben Pringle with a move to Glasgow Rangers.
