Blues linked with Lazio star, City and United said to be eyeing Stones

Antonio Candreva could join Chelsea after being overlooked for the Lazio captaincy, it is claimed.

Talksport say Chelsea are keen on the winger and that he could leave after Lucas Biglia was chosen as Lazio skipper.

It comes after Candreva’s agent Federico Pastorello was quoted in the Italian press as saying: “I thought he deserved recognition and different consideration.

“He will continue with his work as he always has, but he can’t hide the deep disappointment.

“Every summer there are four or five clubs that ask for Candreva, even important clubs playing in the Champions League.”

While Chelsea continue to try agree a deal with Everton for John Stones, it has been reported that other clubs are also looking to sign the England defender.

A number of newspapers, including The Guardian, suggest Manchester United are keen on Stones, while the Daily Mirror say he is also wanted by Manchester City.

Meanwhile, Italian media reports suggest that Chelsea’s Mohamed Salah is set to finally complete a move to Roma.
