Brentford’s David Button is one of a number of goalkeepers being monitored by Aston Villa, the Birmingham Mail reports.
Villa scout Tony Coton is keeping an eye on several keepers and Button, 26, is said to be under consideration as possible future signing.
Oldham’s Joel Coleman, Southend’s Dan Bentley and Jordan Pickford of Sunderland are also reported to be on Villa’s radar.
QPR made offers for Bentley last month and have this week been linked with him again.
It has been claimed that Rangers could make another bid for the 22-year-old when the transfer window re-opens in January.
However, they have no plans to do so following the signing of Alex Smithies, who was signed from Huddersfield before the summer window closed.
