Chelsea fans on Twitter discuss Begovic’s displays
Goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has come in for criticism from some Chelsea fans on Twitter ahead of the game against his former club Stoke City.
The Blues travel to the Britannia Stadium on Tuesday in the League Cup, although there is a chance Begovic may be rested to give Marco Amelia a run out.
With first-choice keeper Thibaut Courtois out injured, the Bosnian had impressed before the 2-1 defeat at West Ham on Saturday.
Begovic should have come for that ball that was stood up for Andy Carol to score* Should be an easy take with his hands by the keeper. — Hugh (@BluesForever16) October 25, 2015
The problem is Begovic, he only makes routine saves that any goalkeeper should be making. He’s never been spectacular. We need Courtois #cfc

I miss Thibaut so much. Lad covers the area so well. He is so good when it comes to catching crosses, while Begovic is not. — Sahil (@HIL13M) October 25, 2015
Not to say Begovic ain’t good bt some of the goals we have conceded Courtois would have saved

Credit to Begovic but Chelsea have truly missed Courtois, there have been goals Thibo wouldn’t concede that Bego has let in. — Xploit (@samuelxploit) October 25, 2015
Chelsea supporters have also been debating the make up of Jose Mourinho’s team against Stoke.
Some want to see different players given a chance, others want a strong line-up – but all agree another loss would be further damaging to morale.
Jose has to change the team for Stoke. Fresh, hungry players such as Ruben, Kenedy & Baba.

What side would you pick at Stoke tomorrow night? Full “strength”? A win is important for morale and confidence & silverware chances. #CFC

Stoke away and Liverpool at home are the games this week. Can’t afford to lose more #CFC It’s #kloppvsmourinho already.
