QPR fans on Twitter react to Konchesky’s display against Wolves
QPR fans on Twitter pulled no punches in their assessment of Paul Konchesky’s performance against Wolves.
The veteran defender was given the runaround by Rajiv van La Parra in the 1-1 draw at Loftus Road.
Many Rangers supporters continue to wonder why Yun Suk-Young has not replaced Konchesky at left-back.
We need a young, talented and hungry left back. Konchesky does not cut the mustard. We have Yun but we need another. #QPR

Think it’s time for Henry and Konchesky to be replaced. Maybe Fer and Hoilett as well
— simon haines (@simon_haines) January 23, 2016
Konchesky is so bad
— QPR Ash (@QPR_Ash) January 23, 2016
We need two new full backs. Konchesky got roasted every time today and he’s appalling on the ball. Henry non existent, needed Faurlin. #QPR
— Tom Bermingham (@TQPRBermingham) January 23, 2016
Konchesky is not just an ageing left back, he’s a terrible ageing left back
— Ak$h4Y (@TheAkshayVara) January 23, 2016
Also, mystified as to why Suk-Young doesn’t play. Konchesky looks dreadful.
— Colin Green (@colingreen81) January 23, 2016
Phillips played like a man trying not to get hurt today. Fer played like Fer. Konchesky torn a new one for the second successive week. #QPR
— QPRnet (@qprnet) January 23, 2016
Terminate Konchesky’s loan immediately @QPRFC
— Shaun (@shauny_wheelz) January 23, 2016
Yun much better than Konchesky #qpr
— Abiola (@AbiolaHP) January 23, 2016
Replace konchesky……..quickly!!!

Fair result in the end. But WTH is Konchesky doing in this team? Embarrassing display. #QPRvWOL
— Geir Schønberg (@GSchnberg) January 23, 2016
He had Konchesky on toast. Bad luck with the goal but we could’ve easily found ourselves behind before Chery hit the post.
— Steve Heard (@SteveHeard82) January 23, 2016
Not one to normally slag off players but I bloody hope @jf9hasselbaink is looking for a left back. Konchesky is a liability. #Qpr
— Rob Brooks (@RobBrooks2) January 23, 2016
Konchesky may be the worst full back I’ve ever seen at Loftus Road, and I’ve watched Marcos Bignot play #QPR
— Samuel (@OzzyQPR) January 23, 2016
Where is Yun? Surely a better bet than Konchesky. The atmosphere was as flat as I’ve ever heard it at LR.
— Lee Avery (@Lee10Avery) January 23, 2016
Konchesky needs to go along with perch and karl kenry.
— jord elder (@jordqpr12) January 23, 2016
Konchesky is possibly the worst left back since traore 🙈🙈
— Jack (@THEJACKELLS) January 23, 2016
Konchesky is utter garbage
— МаксимСаныч (@MaximBykovskiy) January 23, 2016
Konchesky is the worst left back I have ever seen #QPR
— jord elder (@jordqpr12) January 23, 2016
Konchesky is going to need to be sewn up after this game. Van la parra has torn him a new one #QPRvWOL

Recent signing Conor Washington, on the other hand, impressed in his cameo appearance after coming on for his debut.
Love Conor Washington already
— Tom Anson (@tomyanson) January 23, 2016
Conor Washington looks extremely promising. Grant hall exceptional as ever. Need to drop Fer and Henry
— PG (@PGasic) January 23, 2016
Conor Washington’s first action was an unreal touch & cut back for Chery to bottle
— QPR Ash (@QPR_Ash) January 23, 2016
Conor Washington looks quality..excellent 1st touch & pacey #qpr

That was 2 points dropped. Again. It would be nice to see some youngsters given a chance, especially against weaker opposition. The likes of Petrasso, Yun and Luongo won’t hang around forever. Likewise Chery who I thought was doing ok. Fer did well in the Premier League but hasnt regained top form. The whole team is struggling for confidence, which might be why JFH is preferring veterans. Henry does more than the crowd can see, in terms of screening the back four. But if we are doing a complete rebuild then commit to it and ship the veterans out and keep buying hungry youngsters. 2016-17 will be our season. Good times ahead.

I don’t agree that he is doing a good job. Our performance showed no signs of improvement in any area. No creativity in midfield, no ball winner. Forwards had no service. No,end product from Hoillett or Fer, Phllips mainly ineffectual apart from goal. They were a mess, do not look like a team. Our only feasible target is to avoid relegation. We were better under Neil Warnock.

Totally agree conchesky was shown up big time .how the hell henry gets in the team every week is a joke . Yun is so much better at left back .so very strange stuff going on at loftus rd rite now. Great start for connor washington and deffo thjnk he should start v forest tuesday. but the way the powers that be at the moment are he.ll get on for the last ten mins. Is this our future.so hope not.!

Well all i can say is that why do the fans see this and managers dont if they are having a bad game take him off act on the issue at the time why 90 min still on
There are players week in and week out that play badly Henry sandro fur furlan perch konchelsky thats half our team
This why we cant win our games weak midfield and defence
Open your eyes jfh and do somthing with the the young one please
Lets draw or win with them they will try harder than the old ones
Good luck rs

Surely we the fans are expecting too much too soon,we’re going nowhere this season .Jfh is rebuilding, and from what I’v seen so far, he is doing a good job.
