Remy tipped to complete Leicester move, Musonda said to have snubbed QPR

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving the area’s clubs…

Loic Remy is widely tipped to complete a move to Leicester, while the Daily Mail claim Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda snubbed QPR to join Real Betis on loan.

Leicester are reported to be on the verge of signing Blues striker Remy, who has been unable to establish himself as a first-team regular at Stamford Bridge since being signed from QPR in 2013.

The Sun say Leicester initially made an approach to take him on loan and are now set to sign him in a club-record £11.5m deal after being being told Chelsea were only interested in a permanent transfer.

Remy has been linked with several clubs in recent months

There continues to be speculation that Diego Costa could also be on his way out of the Bridge, with reports in his native Spain suggesting he is wanted by his former club Atletico Madrid.

The Sun say Atletico have offered forward Jackson Martinez in exchange but the newspaper believes Chelsea are unlikely to agree to the deal.

Musonda, meanwhile, has agreed a loan move to Spain, having been linked with QPR along with Patrick Bamford in recent weeks.

West London Sport recently revealed that Rangers did make an approach for Bamford but were told that the Chelsea forward, who is expected to join Norwich, was likely to join a Premier League club.

The Mail claim the R’s also tried for Musonda, who supposedly turned them down. Dutch clubs Feyenoord and AZ Alkmaar are also said to have been keen on the 19-year-old Belgian.
