Transfer gossip: Ipswich linked with QPR’s Henry

The latest transfer speculation involving the area’s Championship clubs…

Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy is interested in signing QPR midfielder Karl Henry this summer, according to The Sun.

Henry’s contract at Loftus Road expires at the end of the season and he is waiting to discover if he will be offered a new deal.

He played under McCarthy at Wolves and was captain during the former Republic of Ireland manager’s spell in charge at Molineux.

And Henry, 33, has duly been linked with possible move to Portman Road.
