Posh chairman praises QPR’s Gladwin
Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony posted on Twitter in praise of Ben Gladwin, who caught the eye his first appearance since returning to Swindon.
Gladwin joined the Robins on loan last week, having made just one league start since leaving them to sign for QPR during the summer.
Swindon lost 2-1 at home to Posh but the visiting chairman was impressed with the Rangers man.
Gladwin best player on park & if he can’t get in QPR midfield then they must have some midfield in championship. Handy loan etc. — Darragh MacAnthony (@DMAC102) October 11, 2015
However, a number of fans disagreed with MacAnthony’s assessment, with some pointing out that QPR have the likes of Tjaronn Chery and Leroy Fer to call upon.
@DMAC102 his position is that of Chery & Leroy Fer so yes – he’s nowhere near their level

@DMAC102 Chery and Fer well ahead of him! #QPR — JOE_QPR* (@QPRJOE) October 11, 2015
@DMAC102 I don’t rate him. Played well yesterday, tallest dwarf though and given a very free role. No end product, some wayward long shots.

@BenzlWashington @DMAC102 With Jack Stephens, Nathan Byrne, Luongo etc last year he looked average and Cooper was playing him wider.. — Craig Buckley (@craigbucks) October 11, 2015
