QPR fans on Twitter criticise Phillips
Many QPR fans on Twitter have been calling for winger Matt Phillips to be axed after his poor form continued against Reading at the weekend.
Phillips, who was the subject of bids from West Bromwich Albion and Middlesbrough last summer, has been criticised by some supporters for his displays – and his substitution on Saturday was greeted with cheers by many of the home fans.
And a few are keen to see 20-year-old Michael Petrasso, who has made seven appearances this season, given more game time by boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
Amazing how Phillips hasn’t been dropped. Lazy, gutless, arrogant player. Get rid ASAP. Petrasso looked far more interested, start him #QPR

Why is JFH so scared to start Petrasso? we have nothing to play for & he would do no worse than Phillips

Obviously time for Phillips to leave #QPR. With the benefit of hindsight, £10m from WBA would have been great. One year left I think -price?

Whoever decided to turn down £6.5m for Phillips in January should be immediately sacked.

Matty Phillips…it’s like he’s given up on being a footballer #QPR

I really believe the three month spell Matt Phillips had last season was just a blip. Here’s really just an average inconsistent winger #QPR
