Fans on Twitter react to Sterling beating Hazard to award

Many Chelsea fans on Twitter have expressed their surprise at Eden Hazard being overlooked for the Premier League player of the month award.

Instead, it went to Raheem Sterling after the Harlesden-raised winger impressed in his first few games of the season for Manchester City. 

Blues supporters were far from happy that the award didn’t go to Hazard, particularly with stats suggesting he should have had the honour.

  • Sterling doesn't come close to hazard, i gaze they used a different criteria to decide the winner...... To me whatever criteria they use my hazardous deserve to win the award.

  • Sterling got 2 goals and 2 assists so what's the problem. More to the point how the hell has Aguero not made premier league team of the year in the 5 years he has played here.... Now that's a joke!!!
