Little sympathy for Green among QPR fans on Twitter

Many QPR fans on Twitter have been scathing in their criticism of Rob Green after the goalkeeper’s interview in the Daily Mail over the weekend.

Green said he was “frustrated” and “hurt” at being shunned since 1 January as Rangers try to avoid triggering an automatic contract extension if he plays 30 times this season.

But there appears to be little sympathy among R’s supporters, some of whom feel he should have looked to cancel his contract.

Some fans, however, are supportive of Green and feel the club have treated him badly.

  • whilst Green should be thanked for his endeavours on Rs behalf,he must realise that the solution lies in his own hands. On another topic,I'm sure Derby fans are really happy to be getting the man who helped to deny them victory at Wembley.Just a word of warning, watch out for Harry's knee it could go at any time.

  • I think Green and QPR should have come to a compromise.
The current keeper is good which hasn't helped to force a settlement.
Green has been a good servant to QPR in my opinion.
