Liverpool could face competition from Everton for Bertrand – report
Liverpool could face competition from Merseyside rivals Everton for the signing of Chelsea left-back Ryan Bertrand, the Daily Mirror say.
Bertrand has been linked with a move to Anfield, but it is claimed that Everton could target him if they sell Leighton Baines.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin continues to be linked with a move to Chelsea.
The Sun say the Colombian, who joined Inter after Blues boss Jose Mourinho’s spell at the Italian club, has opened the door to a £14m transfer to Stamford Bridge.
It comes after Guarin was quoted in the Italian press as saying: “Jose Mourinho is the number one.”
