Fans on Twitter react to Fulham draw
Fulham fans have been reacting on Twitter to their side’s 1-1 draw with Leeds United.
Moussa Dembele’s fine goal put the Whites ahead but the visitors, in their first match under new boss Steve Evans, levelled with a penalty converted by Chris Wood. Fulham boss Kit Symons was booed by fans after the final whistle.
Some supporters felt they had passed up a good opportunity to get a win, given Leeds’ high-profile turmoil this week.
Very disappointing result for Fulham. Should have gotten the full 3 points, especially against a struggling club like Leeds #FFC #FFCradio — Duval Doge (@Doge_9o4) October 21, 2015
2 points dropped… #FFC

Fulham, again, with a draw. This time against Leeds. Shoulda been an outright victory, but that’s how the Whites roll. Yuck. #ffc #coyw — Neal (@tweetneal) October 21, 2015
However, many were of the view that Fulham were second best, with goalkeeper Joe Lewis praised for keeping his side in the game.
Bad time to play Leeds after change of manager. They definitely had a bounce but no escaping fact that we were poor tonight. #FFC

#FFC Run ragged by Leeds : great work from Lewis, Burn & Stearman. “Disappointing” from the rest and a real shocker from the ref. — Stuart Hitch (@s_w_hitch) October 21, 2015
The draw was a fair result. Lewis was terrific. Play like that against Reading and we’ll lose #FFC

Shocking #ffc performance, Leeds deserved to win, not going up this season, give kit to the end of the season and then replace him — James Hicks (@JamesHicks1) October 21, 2015
No cutting edge or pace.Tonight was a nothing performance. A point is a point but Leeds the better side by far & we weren’t good enough #FFC
