German club Schalke want Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma on loan, the Mail reports.
It follows reports in Germany that Schalke are looking to sign Zouma on a season-long deal.

Crystal Palace are set to complete the signing of Loic Remy on a season-long loan from Chelsea, according to Sky.
The Sunday People, meanwhile, have reported that Palace plan to make a late move for Remy ahead of Wednesday’s transfer deadline.
There were recently reports that Palace had agreed a deal to sign Remy, 29, on loan with a view to a permanent move.
Since then, West Ham have held discussions over as possible deal for the France striker to join them.
The People have subsequently claimed that Palace boss Alan Pardew will wait until shortly before the deadline before seeking to tie up a deal to take Remy to Selhurst Park.
After the Sunday Mirror reported that Tottenham are looking to sign Isco from Real Madrid, Metro have suggested that he is also target for Chelsea.
It is based on previous speculation that the Blues were keen to sign Isco this summer.
And there continues to be speculation in the Spanish media over the future of Cesc Fabregas.
