Punters would have got a decent price for Fulham to be highest-placed of west London’s three Championship clubs.
After a wonderful start to the season, the Whites are unbeaten in seven games in all competitions and have been cut to 9/2 from 16/1 with BetVictor to win promotion back to the Premier League.
They host Birmingham at the weekend and look home banker material at even-money when playing a Blues side that look sure to be competing in the bottom half of the Championship table.
The visitors are 3/1 to pull off the upset and end Fulham’s unbeaten record, while the draw is 11/4 with BetVictor.
QPR will similarly be deemed as ‘banker’ material and are 3/4 favourites against Blackburn, with the visitors 9/2 and the draw 11/4.
Rangers remain dark horses for promotion; 9/1 to go up and 3/1 to achieve a top-six finish.
They should have no problem beating a Blackburn side that are now as short as 5/4 to be relegated to League One after gaining just one point from the opening five games of the campaign.
Brentford, though, might struggle at Brighton, who are 8/13 favourites to win Saturday’s game.
BetVictor make Brentford a 5/1 chance to score and 3/1 to pick up a point. A 1-1 draw is 8/1.
Selected Championship promotion prices from BetVictor:
Newcastle 2/5
Norwich 6/5
Brighton 13/8
Fulham 9/2
QPR 9/1
Brentford 16/1
