Fans on Twitter criticise Garbutt after Fulham’s defeat at Blackburn
Many Fulham fans on Twitter singled out Luke Garbutt for criticism following the 3-0 defeat by Blackburn on Tuesday.
The Everton loanee played at left wing-back in a 3-5-2 formation, a role he slotted into nicely when coming on as a substitute in the opening minutes of the win at QPR at the weekend.
However, Garbutt struggled at Blackburn, giving away a penalty before being taken off before half-time – and Fulham fans were not impressed with his performance.
Garbutt horrendous display so far, fair play to Slav for having the balls to take him off

Don’t know why Everton fans rate Garbutt so highly? Was unbelievably poor at U21 Euros and has looked average in the championship #ffc

Luke Garbutt is just not making it for Everton lol

Garbutt was our weak link, haven’t been impressed by him since we signed him on loan, glad he’s off.

Everton fans following Garbutt’s progress were also concerned, particularly given the fact they have Leighton Baines, Bryan Oviedo and Brendon Galloway in that position.
For anyone saying Luke Garbutt will make it as a first choice LB at us, that’s why he won’t…

Garbutt will never make it at Everton. Oviedo and Galloway much better. #EFC
