Fans on Twitter react to speculation over the future of keeper Green
QPR fans on Twitter have been discussing Rob Green’s future amid speculation linking the goalkeeper with a return to his former club West Ham.
There have been reports that the Hammers are keen to re-sign the 35-year-old, although Rangers have not received an approach and head coach Chris Ramsey has said he does not believe Green will leave.
Some supporters though were questioning Green’s place after the 2-2 draw with Cardiff on Saturday.
Green looked shaky today – worried about keeping him at number 1. He leaves his near post open, and handles the ball outside the box. #QPR

Rob Green looks like another player whos head is anywhere but at #QPR at the moment

Was surprised at reports of Green to West Ham. Would be great to keep him still but more importantly we need to sign Bentley! #QPR

Green spent six seasons at Upton Park prior to his move across London, and many West Ham fans seem quite keen to have him back, particularly after Adrian’s sending off against Leicester at the weekend and the performances of stand-in keeper Darren Randolph.
I’d definitely have Rob Green back at West Ham as a back up to Adrian. Randolph has looked awful in the games he’s played. #WHUFC

Rob Green coming home would make me feel a lot better than having Randolph who is worst keeper I have seen in Hammers Kit

QPR remain on the look out for a keeper following Alex McCarthy’s move to Crystal Palace, and Huddersfield’s Alex Smithies is a target after attempts to sign Southend’s Daniel Bentley stalled.
Huddersfield fans seemed torn on whether the deal would be good for their club.
Genuinely willing to donate money to QPR to make sure the Smithies deal goes through #htafc #QPR

People slate Smithies but he will be hard to replace. Might cost us a few points each season but he also saves us more! #htafc
