Reports claim Blues want Remy and QPR want Norwich’s Hooper
Crystal Palace are trying to hijack an apparent attempt by QPR to sign striker Gary Hooper from Norwich City, the Mirror claim.
Neil Warnock is said to be keen to land Hooper following the former Rangers manager’s return to Palace for a second spell as Eagles boss.
The Sun say Liverpool are in talks with Alex McCarthy after hijacking QPR’s bid to sign the Reading goalkeeper.

Rangers forward Loic Remy continues to be touted as a possible replacement for Fernando Torres at Chelsea.
Remy wants to join the Blues or Arsenal and there have been numerous reports in recent months claiming both clubs have made approaches.
With Torres discussing a move to AC Milan, the likes of Metro and the Express have suggested that Chelsea are interested in the France striker.

Mattia Destro has also been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge as a replacement for Torres.
However, MailOnline reports that the club’s apparent bid to sign him has been scuppered after Roma refused to sell.
“We’ve not reached out to anybody. He’s not for sale, it’s completely off the table. I decided that a year ago he wasn’t for sale,” Roma president James Pallotta is quoted as saying.
“We’ve got a great front line with Destro there. You won’t see any crazy things going on, that’s for sure.”
The Daily Star say this means Chelsea will sign Remy.
Meanwhile, the Evening Standard say AC Milan have set Torres a deadline, giving him until Saturday lunchtime to complete a move to the San Siro.
