Gossip: QPR linked with El-Mhanni and Fulham with McNair, plus Hazard and Remy speculation
A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving the area’s clubs…
QPR are among a number of clubs said to be monitoring non-League winger Yasin Ben El-Mhanni.
The west London-born 20-year-old, who is on the books of Ryman League side Lewes, has earned a trial at West Bromwich Albion having previously trained with Watford and Bournemouth.
But The Guardian suggests Rangers, Reading, Brighton and Birmingham are also interested in El-Mhanni.
Meanwhile, there is more speculation surrounding Chelsea strikers Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao.
Galatasaray want to sign Remy, according to reports in Turkey.
Aston Villa are keen to sign the striker, who has also been linked with Newcastle – where he previously spent a season on loan – and Crystal Palace.
Falcao is said to have travelled back to parent club Monaco with the Blues prepared to terminate his loan early.
The Daily Telegraph claims the Colombian’s exit will allow Chelsea to pursue Leicester striker Jamie Vardy and Atletico Madrid’s Jackson Martinez.
Eden Hazard is once again being linked with a big-money move to Real Madrid.
The Daily Mail, which reports that Hazard intends to leave the Bridge, say he is wanted by Real and Paris St-Germain. Chelsea apparently want £90m for the Belgian.
The Sun, on the other hand, say Hazard will wait to see who Chelsea’s manager is after the end of the season before deciding his future.
Blues winger Pedro, meanwhile, is not a target for former club Barcelona, according to reports in Spain.
The Sun also believes that the Blues will face competition from Napoli if they want to sign Amadou Diawara from Bologna.
Diawara’s agent has claimed that Chelsea are among a number of English clubs chasing the 18-year-old.
Fulham have failed with an attempt to sign defender Paddy McNair on loan from Manchester United, according to The Times.
United are reported to have rejected approaches for the 20-year-old from the Whites, Blackburn, Burnley and Wolves.
And the Sheffield Star suggests Sheffield United may return with a third bid for Fulham centre-back Dan Burn.
