Transfer gossip: Traore linked with Lille

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving the area’s clubs…

QPR’s Armand Traore could sign for Lille, French newspaper L’Equipe has reported.

West London Sport revealed last month that Traore had been made available on a free transfer along with Junior Hoilett.

The club have discussed a possible financial settlement with Traore, whose contract at Loftus Road expires at the end of the season.

And L’Equipe suggested on Thursday that the 26-year-old could return to his native France if he leaves west London.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have yet again been linked with Paris St-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, this time by the Daily Star.

The story is based on a betting company installing Chelsea as favourites to sign Cavani, 28, after they apparently received a flurry of bets on him moving to Stamford Bridge.
