Transfer gossip: Speculation over Green and Dembele as Fulham are linked with McCarthy

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving the area’s Championship clubs…

Crystal Palace and French club Bordeaux have enquired about QPR keeper Rob Green, the Daily Mirror claim.

West London Sport recently revealed that Rangers were looking to offload the 35-year-old because of a clause in his contract.

Palace did make an enquiry soon afterwards and Green has also been linked with the likes of Liverpool and West Ham.

The Mirror say Palace have lined him up as a possible replacement for Julian Speroni, who could join Reading.

And Sky Sports News HQ believe West Ham are interested in taking Green back to Upton Park.

Sky also believe Fulham are keen on Palace’s former QPR keeper Alex McCarthy, who appears to be surplus to requirements at Selhurst Park.

Tottenham could yet complete the signing of Moussa Dembele from Fulham before tonight’s transfer deadline, The Sun reports.

The two clubs have agreed a fee for the Whites forward but reports over the weekend suggested the move was off.

However, it is now being suggested that Spurs remain hopeful of reaching an agreement to sign Dembele, 19, and are still trying to tie up the deal.
