Gossip: Gladwin linked with Coventry, Galatasaray reportedly hold talks over Blues duo
A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving the area’s clubs…
Ben Gladwin has been linked with a loan move to Coventry City, the Coventry Telegraph reports.
QPR this week recalled the midfielder from a loan spell at Swindon and he will feature in today’s FA Cup game against Nottingham Forest.
But Sky Blues boss Tony Mowbray has been asked about rumours that Gladwin could join his club.
Mowbray is quoted as saying: “There are lots of players on our radar and that’s why I stay here into the night watching clips of players and talking to agents as we try to improve our group.”
Meanwhile, reports in Turkey say Galatasaray have held talks to sign Chelsea duo Branislav Ivanovic and Loic Remy.
And Italian media reports say Chelsea are in talks with Bologna youngster Amadou Diawara, who has recently been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
The 18-year-old Guinean is under contract until 2020 but Bologna would apparently accept £10m for him.
