A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving the area’s clubs…
Fiorentina are interested in signing Radamel Falcao, according to the Daily Mirror.
Falcao has struggled to establish himself in the Chelsea side since arriving on a season-long loan from Monaco and there has been speculation that he could make an early exit from Stamford Bridge when the transfer window reopens in January.
The Mirror say Fiorentina have made enquiries about a loan deal involving Falcao, 29, and that Chelsea might agree to let him go if the Blues are able to sign another striker.
Chelsea have again been linked with a move for Barcelona’s Argentina superstar Lionel Messi.
The Sun say Chelsea are pursuing a deal to sign him along with Manchester United and Manchester City.
It is claimed that Messi has told friends he would like to leave Barca and move to the Premier League.
Meanwhile, QPR’s Armand Traore could sign for Lille, French newspaper L’Equipe has reported.
West London Sport revealed last month that Traore had been made available on free transfer along with Junior Hoilett.
The club have discussed a possible financial settlement with Traore, whose contract at Loftus Road expires at the end of the season.
And L’Equipe have suggested that the 26-year-old could return to his native France if he leaves west London.
