Chelsea are one of a number of English clubs boosted by reports Arsenal have pulled out of a race to sign Schalke forward Leroy Sane, the Daily Star claim.

The Sun reports that Arsenal have been put off by a £40m price tag, with Manchester City and Manchester United battling it out to sign Sane.

And the Star have followed that up by claiming that Chelsea and Liverpool are also interested in the 20-year-old.

The Star also continue to link Chelsea with Paris St-Germain’s Edinson Cavani and Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus.

AC Milan’s Carlos Bacca is another of the host of strikers linked with Chelsea in recent months.

The Express now say Bayern Munich are the favourites to sign Bacca following reports in Germany that the Bundesliga giants want him.
