A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea…
Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is the latest player reported to be top of incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte’s list of transfer targets.
The Sun say Conte wants to sign the 27-year-old Armenian, who has scored 18 goals this season.
Liverpool are said to have shown an interest as Reds boss Jurgen Klopp signed him for Dortmund.
It is also claimed that Mkhitaryan previously sent family members to look at properties for him in London because Arsenal were looking to sign him.
The Daily Mirror also suggest Chelsea are keen on Mkhitaryan and that the club have been boosted in their apparent pursuit of Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci, who has been linked with a possible move to Stamford Bridge.
The story is based on Bonucci, 28, apparently failing to commit his future to Juve when asked if he might leave the club this summer.
He was quoted in the Italian media as saying: “I haven’t said anything yet. The question hasn’t been asked, so I can’t say either yes or no.”
Meanwhile, Paris St-Germain defender Marquinhos continues to be linked with a possible transfer to Chelsea, with the Daily Star reporting that his brother has confirmed talks have been held about a possible move from the French club.
The Blues, Manchester United, Manchester United, Arsenal and Barcelona are all said to be interested in the 21-year-old Brazilian.
His brother, Luan Aoas Correa, told a French television show: “There are a lot of clubs who are interested in Marquinhos.
“They have already spoken with me. With the club, Marquinhos’ agent, myself and my father we will make a decision.”
