Fans react to Furlong’s latest loan move
Many QPR fans on Twitter welcomed the news that young full-back Darnell Furlong was joining Swindon on a season-long loan.
Furlong’s previous loan moves, to Cambridge and Northampton, were greeted with dismay by many supporters who argued he should be given a run in the Rangers first team.
This time, however, the general reaction to news that a loan deal in the offing – it was later confirmed by the clubs – was that a move to League One side Swindon was a good idea.
@WestLondonSport Makes more sense that keeping him sitting on the bench.

@davidmcintyre76 @WestLondonSport A loan deal is what he needs as if successful in L1 this will force JFH make a decision on his #QPR future

@WestLondonSport I think it's a good move for the player. Chief is first choice with Perch as cover, so would only be used for cups games.
