Fans on Twitter discuss Remy’s future

Newcastle fans on Twitter have been urging their club to strike a last-minute deal for Chelsea striker Loic Remy.

Steve McClaren’s side are in the market for a striker and have been linked with Remy – who previously spent a season on loan at St James’ Park – and West Bromwich Albion’s Saido Berahino.

Newcastle lodged a £21m bid for Berahino but some fans want to see them spend some of that money on Remy instead.

Meanwhile, some Chelsea fans are concerned letting Remy go could leave them a little light up front without any further business on transfer deadline day.
