QPR & Fulham linked with defenders, Destro tipped to join Monaco

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving QPR, Chelsea and Fulham…

Sheffield Wednesday defender Tom Lees is the latest player to be linked with QPR.

The Daily Mail say Bristol City have made a £2m bid for Lees, 24, and that Rangers and Hull are monitoring the situation.

The Mail also say Fulham are discussing a deal to sign Eric Fernando Botteghin, a 27-year-old Brazilian who plays for Groningen in the Netherlands.

The central defender reportedly has an Italian passport, which would make him eligible to play in England.

Meanwhile, Italian media reports suggest Monaco are on the verge of signing Mattia Destro.

The Daily Star, who have consistently linked the Roma striker with a move to Chelsea, claim this will come as a blow to the Blues.

Reports Italy also suggest Roma want to sign goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, who is set to complete a move to Chelsea from Stoke.
