QPR fans on Twitter hail Smithies and Hall after draw at Wednesday
QPR fans on Twitter have been praising Alex Smithies and Grant Hall following the 1-1 draw at Sheffield Wednesday.
Smithies, who has been in fine form since establishing himself as Rangers’ first-choice keeper, saved a penalty at Hillsborough, where centre-back Hall was again outstanding.
Alex Smithies has made a seamless transition into a difficult role for us. Amazing how reassuring a decent keeper is. #COYRs #QPR

Smithies HOW was he not our Number when as soon as he walked in the door? Shows we were playing Green as he was a ‘name’ #QPR

At first I was sceptical of Smithies, had a few dodgy cup games etc. But now, he’d be the first name on the team sheet alongside Grant Hall
