Bees fans on Twitter react to Macleod’s return
Returning Brentford midfielder Lewis MacLeod earned rave reviews on Twitter after starring in the Bees’ Under-21 victory over QPR.
MacLeod, playing his first match since March, set up the opening goal for Josh Bohui and then head in Sam Saunders’ cross in a 2-1 win.
Many Bees fans were delighted to see MacLeod feature, and were also impressed by teenager Bohui and goalkeeper Jack Bonham.
Anyone else excited 2 finally see Lewis MacLeod play? Scoring 1 + making 1 too! Could be our season’s turning point right here! #brentfordfc — Dave Washer (@davewasher) October 7, 2015
Macleod looks decent considering he hasn’t played for 9 months.
