Antonio Conte could begin working at Chelsea before this summer’s European Championship, The Sun say.
The Italy boss, widely tipped to take over at Stamford Bridge, confirmed on Tuesday that he plans to re-enter club management.
The Sun say Conte, 46, is considering spending time at Chelsea’s training ground between the end of the season and the start of the Euros.
A ‘Chelsea insider’ is quoted as saying: “This is the buzz around the club. It’s not even been officially confirmed that he will be the new manager but it’s widely thought he’ll be popping over to England to start work on rebuilding Chelsea — mainly to introduce himself and to get cracking.”
Meanwhile, Italian media reports have suggested that Chelsea are ready to make Roma an offer for defender Kostas Manolas.
The Daily Star have subsequently picked up on other reports in Italy that have suggested an approach for the 24-year-old has already been rebuffed.
The Star also say Conte’s top targets are Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci, Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan and Bayern Munich’s Arturo Vidal.
And reports in France claim Chelsea have offered Paris St-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic a two-year deal worth almost £10m a season.

All chelsea players are planning to leave the club because of the poor performance this season, Really it is obvious that chelsea is not playing well this season but you will see next season the way chelsea will pick up because of the new coach so Hazard, Pato, Willian, Oscar, Costa, Zouma and the new player conte will bring to chelsea can make chelsea a better club next season so i will like those players to remain at chelsea because last season Hazard was the PFA player son he can still do that Over and Over again.....
