Chelsea should see off Dons and Watford – and Palace striker is 4/1 to join QPR

The FA Cup takes centre stage today with Chelsea travelling to Stadium MK to meet the Dons in front of the BBC cameras.

The Blues could have had an easier fourth-round tie (Arsenal at the Emirates, obviously) but those tuning in for a shock after their Sunday lunch should try the Horror Channel, as I can’t see past another away win for the champions.

BetVictor make Chelsea 1/3 to win, whilst our brand ambassador and former England international Michael Owen recommends the Blues to be leading at both half-time and full-time at a shade of odds-on at 37/40.

Chelsea are 5/1 at BetVictor to lift the trophy in May (having been as big as 8/1 earlier in the season), 5/2 to reach the final, 11/8 to make the semi-finals and 4/7 to make the quarter-finals.

Chelsea are also in action on Wednesday when they visit Watford in the Premier League. They are even-money to win that game, with the Hornets 10/3 and the draw at 12/5.

Guus Hiddink’s improving side are 5/2 to end the season in the top six and if that is to be a realistic target you feel they must take maximum points at Watford, although they did score with the only two shots they had on target in the reverse fixture at the Bridge on Boxing Day.

Transfer deadline day is an eagerly-awaited day for all football supporters although it has been largely a damp squib in recent times.

That said, possible moves of note include:

Saido Berahino to Chelsea: 6/4
George Moncur to Brentford: 12/1
Joe Ledley to QPR: 8/1
Frazier Campbell to QPR: 4/1
Nick Powell to Fulham: 16/1
