Chelsea offer Willian new deal and expect offers for trio, Times say

A round-up of stories involving Chelsea from Tuesday’s newspapers…

Chelsea have offered Willian a four-year contract worth £120,000 a week, according to The Times.

The newspaper say Chelsea are keen to secure the long-term future of their stand-out player this season as they fear the club’s poor campaign could lead to them losing players.

Bayern Munich, Paris St-Germain and Juventus are all said to have shown an interest in Willian, who has two-and-a-half years left on his contract at Stamford Bridge.

The Times also say Chelsea are expecting to receive offers for Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois and Diego Costa this summer if they miss out on the Champions League.

Willian has been outstanding for Chelsea this season

Meanwhile, the Daily Telegraph believe Hazard would only consider leaving Chelsea for Real Madrid, despite him recently appearing to suggest he would be interested in a move to PSG.

Chelsea skipper John Terry will reject offers from China this summer and would prefer to move to Qatar or the United States, according to the Daily Mirror.

And The Sun reports that Chelsea youngster Kenedy has had an image of his girlfriend tattooed on his body.

  • Good idea chelsea wants to secure the services of the one player who deserves it most amongst the rats. As for Mikel he should stop poking at Mourinho and concentrate on his football. He is beginning to sound ungrateful. I think we should keep courtois and let Hazard and Diego Go away because they destructive and a disruption to the team.
