Chelsea improving but face tough test at West Ham

Chelsea still look short of their brilliant best but have kept two cleans sheets in the last week – and they’ll need to continue that improvement against in-form West Ham.

The Hammers go into the game six points above the champions in the Premier League table after an impressive 3-1 win at Crystal Palace last weekend.

Chelsea are 20/21 to pick up all three points, with the hosts 3s and the draw 14/5.

Chelsea striker Diego Costa was back among the goals against a poor Aston Villa side last weekend and is 4/1 to score the opener and 11/10 to find the net at any time at Upton Park.

A 1-1 draw is 15/2 at BetVictor and that might be a shade too big as this is a good Irons side. Having said that, West Ham have at times been better on the road than at home so far this term.

Chelsea, incidentally, are 6/4 to finish top of their Champions League group and 1/5 to qualify for the knockout phase after their goalless draw against Dynamo Kiev earlier in the week.

But the Blues are out to 20/1 to lift the trophy in the San Siro next May.
