The FA are confident they will announce the result of their probe into the Mark Clattenburg race row by Monday lunchtime, according to The Sun.
The governing body will apparently complete their interviews in the next 48 hours.
They are said to be determined to proceed with a decision despite the ongoing Metropolitan Police inquiry into an allegation that Clattenburg racially insulted Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail suggest John Terry’s omission for Wednesday’s Champions League game against Skakhtar Donetsk is ‘the beginning of the end’ for him at Chelsea.
And the Daily Mirror say Arsenal could target Adel Taarabt if they fail to prise Wilfried Zaha away from Crystal Palace.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is said to be keen to sign two forwards when the transfer window opens in January.
It is claimed Arsenal will bid £7m for Zaha but are also interested in former Tottenham man Taarabt, who signed a long-term contract at QPR during the summer.
