Everton v Fulham player ratings
Fulham’s disappointing recent run continued as they were beaten 1-0 by Everton. Here’s how we rated the players in their defeat at Goodison Park.
Mark Schwarzer: 7
After a couple of below par displays of late, this was more like it from the veteran keeper. He produced a number of saves, including a late stop to deny substitute Ross Barkley.
Stanislav Manolev: 5
A difficult afternoon for the Bulgarian, who had the unenviable task of dealing with Steven Pienaar and Leighton Baines on the flank.
Philippe Senderos: 6
Competed well but was often outmuscled by Victor Anichebe and was also caught out late on, leading to a chance for Barkley.
Brede Hangeland: 7
Assured at the back. Strong in the air and sensible on the ball.
Kieran Richardson: 7
Has taken time to get going at Fulham but looks a good option at left-back. Defended well and was dangerous when able to venture forward.
Urby Emanuelson: 6
Flattered to deceive. Tricky, but with little end product, and missed a great chance to equalise.
Giorgios Karagounis: 6
Worked hard but stood little chance against Everton’s energetic midfield.
Eyong Enoh: 5
Looked out of his depth, leaving Karagounis with too much to do in midfield.
Alex Kacaniklic: 5
Struggled to get into the game. Offered little going forward and not a great deal in terms of defensive cover either.
Bryan Ruiz: 6
His movement caused Everton some problems, but overall he had a frustrating afternoon and was easily snuffed out.
Dimitar Berbatov: 6
Hadn’t got into his stride before being taken off with an injury midway through the first half.
Damien Duff: 6
Did little to affect the game after coming on in the second half. Still doesn’t look fully fit following his recent injury.
Mladen Petric: 6
Missed a decent chance in the second half when he was just unable to connect with a cross from Richardson.
