Director predicts ‘long and stressful season’ for struggling QPR

QPR director Ruben Gnanalingam predicted tough times ahead for QPR in the wake of their latest defeat.

Rangers remain bottom of the table and without a league win this season following their 1-0 loss at Arsenal on Saturday.

“Its gonna be a long and stressful season ahead,” Gnanalingam tweeted afterwards.

Meanwhile, Audley Harrison has been tweeting about his intention to return to the boxing ring despite his recent first-round defeat to David Price.

“If I stay in shape…can maintain my desire to be a winner…the results will come. I lost the spark, but it’s back now. Things will be ok,” he declared.

  • It has already BEEN a long and stressful season for Park fans. I've been worried sick about his lingering knee problem since the beginning of the season and have been praying like crazy.

What has QPR the club done?

It sure hasn't shut the yappers hanging about the club like barnicles, screaming malediction day in and day out, alleging all sorts of crazy stuff, dismissing Park's technique (compare his passing accuracy with Granero's, will you?) and desire and leadership and even his faculty for thought. And this is their latest reasoning behind "stripping Park of captaincy" -- that he does not speak English.

What has QPR the club done when they CELEBRATED his aggravated knee injury? Why did the club not clarify that Faurlin was out nursing his own old injury too, and didn't get left off the squad as a result of the shady "understanding" between him and Hughes?

What has QPR the club done when they made an event of cutting Park down to the size of a smudge, just so that their own favorite player would STRIP HIM of the undeserving honor, so vocally and vociferously and INSISTENTLY? Why leave it festering? Either strip him like Barton and Terry and be done with it or tell them to shut the pie holes.

You lot are INCREDIBLY dense, tacky, and irresponsible.
Talk about the STUUUUPIDEST thing to do to a squad just starting to bond, or thinking about bonding -- a crucial element in getting that result that is on everyone's lips.

Hey, bench him if you must.
    Just stop the CALUMNIES.
    Absolute utter idiocy.

    Keep cutting him down.
You are a fledgling tiny club.
    WE ARE AN ENTIRE NATION.
And I am a bloodthirsty woman.
I could have unleashed it on your behalf.
Now you will be on the receiving end.
You won't enjoy it, I guarantee you.

SEVEN YEARS IN ENGLAND and they assume he still does not know the language, and cannot read. He studied the English language obsessively. His pronunciation sucks but not as badly as his English tutor's, whom I call out as a complete fraud. 2 years of ESL should have been more than enough to catch him up, since he started out as a polyglot. But he is now disqualified because of the language barrier? Come again? You are an ungainly, ungraceful, and disgraceful lot.
