Derby v QPR player ratings

QPR’s troubled season continued with a defeat against Derby. Here’s how we rated the Rangers players in their 1-0 loss at the iPro Stadium.

Rob Green: 6
Solid overall and had little chance for Derby’s goal.

James Perch: 5
Never looked convincing at right-back and his miserable night was compounded when he was sent off for a second bookable offence late on.

Nedum Onuoha: 7
Strong at the heart of the Rangers defence, winning a number of challenges.

Grant Hall: 7
Also played well at the back, one of the highlights being a terrific header to prevent Chris Martin connecting with a Johnny Russell cross.

Paul Konchesky: 7
Defensively sound and linked up well with Yun Suk-Young on the left.

Karl Henry: 6
Worked hard, but his lack of composure on the ball – including a horribly sliced cross – did little to win over his doubters.

Alejandro Faurlin: 6
Neat and tidy but struggled to make any real impact before being substituted.

Daniel Tozser: 5
His set-piece delivery is an asset but overall it was a lethargic display from the Hungarian.

Matt Phillips: 6
Started well but then produced a disappointing second-half performance, summed up by a wayward free-kick in the final minute.

Yun Suk-Young: 7
Deployed in an attacking wide role and gave Rangers some much-needed energy and enthusiasm on the left. Took his chance to impress with both hands.

Charlie Austin: 7
Had a couple of attempts from distance. A frustrating night in front of goal but he worked tirelessly up front to try to create openings.

Junior Hoilett: 5
Made no impact whatsoever after coming on as a substitute.
