QPR chairman Tony Fernandes savoured QPR’s 3-0 victory against Bournemouth at Loftus Road on Tuesday night.
The result took Rangers up to second place in the Championship, level on points with leaders Leicester.
And Fernandes tweeted: “3 0 very satisfying. Very happy. Since I became chairman my biggest win. Great crowd.”
Chief executive Philip Beard added: “Good result tonight, good performance and really good to enjoy the last 15 minutes with a 3 goal cushion.”
Matt Phillips capped QPR’s win by scoring soon after coming on as a substitute – his first goal for the club.
“Delighted to have got of the mark tonight ! Good response from the boys from saturday! #QPR #3points,” the winger tweeted.
R’s defender Danny Simpson wrote: “Great win tonight.. So important to bounce back with a win after a defeat and we certainly did that.”
And coach Wally Downes declared: “What a lovely day….beat my arch rival 3 and 2 @then a splendid 3-0 win for the rangers tonight! Great response from sat. #ireallylovemyjob.”
