Blues fans on Twitter call for change up front
Some Chelsea fans on Twitter have been calling for Diego Costa to be dropped for Saturday’s game at Stoke City.
The Spain striker has scored just seven times in his last 26 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions, stretching back to January – in stark contrast to the 17 he scored in his first 25 games for the club.
Despite relief at the 2-1 win over Dynamo Kiev, a number of supporters were critical of Costa’s display and feel Loic Remy – with a Chelsea record of 11 goals in 34 games – should start at the Britannia Stadium instead.
We should use Remy upfront against Stoke. Costa’s style will play straight into the hands of Shawcross & co. #CFC — Shoggy Dee (@Shoggy_Dee) November 5, 2015

Diego Costa’s form is cause for concern. Visibly out of form and lacking sharpness. Always seems to take touches away from goal #CFC

Costa makes great runs and gets into useful positions but he seems to have lost a yard of pace and he takes too long to get a shot off. #CFC — Tom Andrews (@CarefreeTom_182) November 4, 2015
One player who did impress in the Champions League victory was Baba Rahman. The Ghanaian full-back had struggled in his initial appearances, to the extent that Kurt Zouma was played at right-back to keep Cesar Azpilicueta on the left side.
But he produced his best display yet in the win over Dynamo, leading to fans hoping he will get more game time in the Premier League.
Baba Rahman must start every game Jose, He is solid Yesterday. #CFC

I really like how José Mourinho is taking it cool with Baba Rahman. We all saw how good he played yesterday. Hope he continues learning #CFC — J. K. Osei (@joseikofi) November 5, 2015
It has to be said, Baba Rahman was good tonight. 2nd most completed passes with 45 (Matic, 46. Fabregas, 41). #CFC
