Transfer gossip: Chelsea again linked with Celtic’s Tierney
Some of the recent transfer speculation involving Chelsea.
Chelsea have again been linked with Celtic full-back Kieran Tierney.
The Daily Mail claim the Blues are considering a move for the 19-year-old, who has been linked with several English clubs in recent months.
The Mail also believe Celtic are ready to place a price tag of £17m on Tierney, who has been shortlisted for Scottish PFA young player of the year.
Terry offered China deal – Sun
Speculation continues over the future of John Terry as he prepares to leave Chelsea at the end of the season.
The Sun say Terry has been given the chance join Blues striker Diego Costa at Tianjin Quanjian.
The Chinese Super League outfit have been linked with Costa and The Sun say the club are also offering Terry a two-year deal.
Meanwhile, The Times say Terry has told friends he has been offered wages of £100,000-a-week and a £5m signing-on fee by one Premier League club.
Tianjin Quanjian’s billionaire owner Shu Yuhui has told Chinese media that he has verbally agreed deals with “two or three stars”.
With Costa reported to be Tianjin’s number one target, the comments inevitably led to more reports that the Spain international could be heading for a move to the Far East.
Earlier this week, Costa being spotted meeting high-profile agent Jorge Mendes also prompted more speculation about his future.
The Sun reported that Costa, 26, was seen with Mendes and a group of businessmen at a Knightsbridge restaurant.
Newcastle want Abraham – Star
Newcastle are keen to sign Tammy Abraham on loan from Chelsea for next season, the Daily Star say.
It follows recent reports that Chelsea want to loan the 19-year-old striker to a Premier League club after his impressive season while on loan at Championship side Bristol City.
Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez is looking to strengthen his squad following the Magpies’ promotion back to the top flight and it is claimed that he wants to take Abraham to St James’ Park.
Blues linked with another Celtic youngster
Chelsea are among English clubs interested in Celtic’s teenage forward Michael Johnston, the Daily Mail claim.
Stoke City and Derby County are also said to have shown some interest in the 18-year-old, who has been touted as a major prospect.
Johnston has one year remaining on his current deal and has yet to sign a new contract at Parkhead.
Stockdale linked again
Chelsea have again been linked with Brighton’s former Fulham goalkeeper David Stockdale, this time by the Daily Star.
Stockdale, 31, was one of a host of keepers linked with Chelsea during the January window.
His Brighton contract expires this summer and it is claimed that he could be snapped up by the Blues, who are expected to sell Asmir Begovic.
Chinese club confident on Costa – Sky
Chinese oufit Tianjin Quanjian are confident they will sign Diego Costa from Chelsea this summer, according to Sky Sports News HQ.
Willian’s future in doubt, Sun say
Willian is fighting for his future at Chelsea as boss Antonio Conte plans a revamp of the squad, The Sun say.
It follows recent speculation that Willian could leave Stamford Bridge, where he is no longer a first-team regular.
The Sun say Conte will let him go if the right offer comes in this summer.
Agent Kezman could help Chelsea – Sun
The Sun also speculate that former Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman could be helping the club sign one of their targets.
It comes after reports that Chelsea are interested in Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who is represented by Kezman.
Milinkovic-Savic signed a five-year contract earlier this month but it is claimed that he could still move for £30m.
Bertrand linked with return
Chelsea and Liverpool are monitoring Ryan Bertrand’s situation ahead of a potential move for him this summer, the Daily Mirror say.
The former Blues left-back, 27, has been linked with a possible return to Chelsea, who sold him to Southampton in 2015.
Bertrand is one of a number of Saints players being linked with other clubs ahead of the next transfer window.
The Mirror say he has told friends he believes he will leave St Mary’s.
Klopp not after Fabregas – Echo
Liverpool are not looking to sign Cesc Fabregas, the Liverpool Echo reports.
The Express claimed on Tuesday that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is keen to capture the Chelsea midfielder this summer and that the Merseyside club will battle with Manchester United to sign him.
The Echo say Fabregas, who has also been linked with AC Milan, is not among Liverpool’s summer transfer targets.
Zouma could be loaned out, Mail say
Chelsea want to keep Andreas Christensen but could be willing to loan out Kurt Zouma next season, according to the Daily Mail.
It comes after The Sun claimed that Chelsea have offered Christensen, 21, to Southampton as part of a proposed deal to sign Virgil van Dijk from the Saints.
Danish defender Christensen is in his second season on loan with Borussia Monchengladbach.
The Mail say Chelsea are keen to give him a chance next season and could loan out Zouma in order to make room.
Courtois speculation continues
Thibaut Courtois is in line for a bumper new deal at Chelsea after Real Madrid cooled their interest in the goalkeeper, again according to the Mail.
It follows a series of reports that Real would move for the Belgian at the end of this season.
Now it is claimed that Real are instead determined to sign Manchester United keeper David de Gea and that Chelsea will therefore look to extend Courtois’ contract.
Barca eyeing Azpilicueta, Sport claim
Barcelona are lining up Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta as a possible alternative to Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin, Spanish publication Sport claim.
Bellerin has continually been linked with a move to Barca and it is now claimed that the La Liga giants are considering other potential options if they are unable to prise him away from the Gunners.
Sport claim that Spain international Azpilicueta is among the back-up targets and would be interested in a move to the Nou Camp.
Blues linked with Schick
Chelsea are among several clubs Gazzetta Dello Sport claim are interested in Sampdoria striker Patrik Schick.
Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal also want the 21-year-old Czech Republic international, according to the Italian daily.
Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid are also said to be keen on Schick, who joined Sampdoria from Sparta Prague last year.
Belotti still being linked
Chelsea also continue to be linked with Torino striker Andrea Belotti.
Sky in Italy reckon the Blues could beat Manchester United to the signing of Belotti because he wants to play in the Championship League.
The 23-year-old, who reportedly has an £83m release clause in his contract, has also been linked with Arsenal.

Not a chance. Why would Liverpool want a player who’s legs went two years ago and who now cannot even impact a game from the bench. This would make the Mario Balotelli signing look like a shrewd move. Dream on.
