Frank Lampard scored his 200th goal for Chelsea as they beat West Ham and reclaimed third spot in the Premier League. Here’s how we rated the Blues players in their 2-0 victory.
Petr Cech: 7
Equal to the task on the rare occasions he was tested, and his communication and assertiveness were important against West Ham’s aerial threat.
Cesar Azpilicueta: 7
Had plenty on his plate with Matt Jarvis posing a danger on the flank. Gave as good as he got though and managed to get forward too.
David Luiz: 8
Perhaps fortunate Andy Carroll had a goal disallowed for a nudge on him but otherwise Luiz did very well against the West Ham target man in a duel some may have felt the Brazilian might struggle in.
Gary Cahill: 6
Suffered a knock in the first half and looked out of sorts.
Ashley Cole: 7
Was comfortable defensively so was able to get forward to good effect.
Ramires: 6
Not as impressive as he has been of late but did an adequate job in the centre of midfield.
Frank Lampard: 7
Took his goal well, having earlier set up a chance for Demba Ba. Remained an attacking threat for the rest of the game but missed a sitter late on.
Victor Moses: 7
Not at his best, but was unlucky with a first-half attempt on goal and worked hard before being substituted.
Juan Mata: 8
Typically brilliant, giving West Ham all sorts of problems with his close control and clever movement. Great to watch.
Eden Hazard: 9
An absolutely superb display from the Belgian, who set up Lampard’s goal and scored Chelsea’s second after one of several forays into the box. His touch and awareness were outstanding and his willingness to run at defenders gave the visitors a nightmare from start to finish.
Demba Ba: 5
Made a mess of a first-half chance created for him by Lampard and had other opportunities. His movement created space for others, but overall the striker was well below par.
Oscar: 7
Was bright after replacing Moses for the final 20 minutes.

We are fortunate as a club to have these set of players, I don't like to be specific but I can't stop wondering the kind of players Mata and Hazard are. They just too good. I wish them good luck throughout their career.
