Some of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea.
Talksport have picked up on reports in Pontus Jansson’s native Sweden claiming the Leeds United cente-back is wanted by Premier League clubs, including Chelsea.
Swedish newspaper Expressen have claimed that the Blues, Liverpool, Tottenham and Southampton have shown an interest in the 26-year-old.
His agent Martin Dahlin is quoted as saying: “He has set his sights on playing in the Premier League next season, that much I can say.
“Interest is high but you will not get me to say specific clubs. But right now he focuses solely on Leeds.”
Romelu Lukaku has told friends he wants to rejoin Chelsea from Everton this summer, The Sun say.
The newspaper also declare that the two clubs “remain sworn enemies” because of Chelsea’s attempts to sign John Stones from Everton two years ago, and that as a result the Merseysiders would rather sell to Manchester United if Lukaku leaves.
Lukaku is also said to have reservations about linking up with United boss Jose Mourinho, who overlooked the striker when they were at Chelsea.
The Sun also say Real Madrid are planning a £60m move for Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea and that Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois is the Spanish club’s back-up option.
Courtois has long been linked with Real, as has his Chelsea’s team-mate Eden Hazard.
The Sun quote ‘a Madrid source’ as saying: “De Gea is the top priority. We expect him to come this summer.”
Chelsea striker Diego Costa is wanted by Tianjin Quanjian, according to the Daily Mail.
It is claimed that the Chinese Super League club are looking to sign Costa on a £32m-per-year contract.
Costa is said to be keen to make the move, having initially been targeted during the January transfer window.
