Some of the Chelsea-related stories in Sunday’s newspapers
Chelsea have again been linked with Tottenham’s England defender Kyle Walker.
The Sunday Mirror say Spurs are willing to sell Walker, 26, for £40m and that this “will spark a bidding war” between Chelsea and Manchester City.
The newspaper say a decision was taken at a meeting between Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino and chairman Daniel Levy that Walker will be allowed to leave this summer.
It is also claimed that Bayern Munich are now showing an interest in the player too.
Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic has again been linked with a possible move to Manchester United, this time by the Sun on Sunday.
United’s former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is planning a £35m bid for the Serbian, it is claimed.
The deal is said to hinge on whether Blues boss Antonio Conte is willing to let Matic leave.
The Sunday Express claim Chelsea are struggling to hold on to Conte amid interest from Inter Milan.
It follows recent reports that Inter are keen to appoint the former Italy and Juventus boss, who has led Chelsea to the title this season.
Inter are said to be willing to pay him £20m a year if he leaves Stamford Bridge after just one season.
Chelsea are interested in signing 20-year-old midfielder Alexsandr Golovin from CSKA Moscow, according to the Mail on Sunday.
The Russia international would apparently cost around £20m and would be regarded as a signing for the future.

Spurs will not sell any player to Chelsea ever. So why do media outlets continue to link Tottenham players to Chelsea?
