Some of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea.
Chelsea are confident they will beat Manchester United to the £43m signing of Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, the Daily Mail say.
Both Premier League clubs are said to be pursuing a deal to sign the 22-year-old, who has been widely tipped to move this summer.
Monaco reportedly want Michy Batshuayi or Charly Musonda on loan from Chelsea as part of any deal.
The Mail also say Musonda is the more likely of the two to join Monaco and that Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic is being lined up by United as a possible alternative signing should they miss out on Bakayoko.
Chelsea have made an enquiry about Fulham goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli, the Daily Mail also claim.
The Blues have been linked with a host of keepers – including former Fulham man David Stockdale – as they look to bring in a replacement for Asmir Begovic as Thibaut Courtois’ deputy.
The Mail say the money on offer could tempt Bettinelli, 25, to move to Stamford Bridge despite the probability of first-team opportunities being limited.
Real Madrid are willing to break the world transfer record in order to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea, again according to The Sun.
It is claimed that Real are willing to pay £100m in order to lure Hazard away from Stamford Bridge.
The Sun also claim Hazard is ready to push for a move and that his representatives have discussed a transfer to Real on three occasions this year.
Lyon are planning to make an approach for Chelsea forward Bertrand Traore, according to L’Equipe.
The French publication say Lyon are keen on Traore, 21, after his impressive season on loan at Ajax.
L’Equipe believe Chelsea would want €20m (around £17.5m) for Traore and that his wages could be a stumbling block to any deal.
Chelsea want Paris Saint-Germain keeper Alphonse Areola to replace Asmir Begovic, The Sun say.
The Blues have been linked with a host of keepers in recent months and The Sun say Areola, 24, is the man Chelsea boss Antonio Conte wants to take over from Begovic as Thibaut Courtois’ deputy at Stamford Bridge.
Begovic is joining Bournemouth in order to play regular first-team football, while former France Under-21 international Areola is PSG’s second-choice keeper behind Kevin Trapp.
The Daily Mail say Izzy Brown will seek talks with Chelsea over his future and is open to staying at Huddersfield following their promotion to the Premier League.
Blues youngster Brown has impressed while on loan with the Terriers, who secured a place in the top flight by beating Reading on penalties in the Championship play-off final.
The Mail say Chelsea would want up to £5m to let him leave permanently and that another loan deal is possible.
Chelsea youngster Jay Dasilva could return to Charlton, according to Kent Live.
Dasilva made his league debut during a loan spell at Charlton last season and made 10 appearances for the League One side.
Addicks boss Karl Robinson is said to be working hard to persuade Chelsea to agree to second loan spell for the 19-year-old.
Chelsea have identified Jerome Boateng as a possible alternative to Virgil van Dijk, The Sun say.
Southampton’s Van Dijk is said to be Chelsea’s first-choice signing as they look to bring in a centre-back this summer.
The Sun say the Blues have made an enquiry about Bayern Munich’s Boateng and see him as a back-up option.
The Sun have also picked up on reports that Bayern are interested in signing Willian from Chelsea.
It comes via German publication Abendzeitung, which claimed that Bayern are monitoring the Brazilian ahead of a possible move.
Willian recently insisted he expects to stay at Stamford Bridge despite speculation surrounding his future.
The Daily Mail say Chelsea have been told they will have to pay £48m if they want to sign Ivan Perisic, who has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
Manchester United are also said to be keen on Inter Milan’s Croatian winger, who has been tipped to leave the San Siro this summer.
The Daily Mirror, meanwhile, say United have a verbal agreement in place to sign the 28-year-old.
There continues to be speculation over the future of Chelsea striker Diego Costa.
The Independent say his former club Atletico Madrid are interested in re-signing him but are unwilling to pay more than £20m.
The Daily Telegraph say Costa, who has been tipped to move to China, will hold talks with Chelsea this week to discuss his future.
