Transfer gossip: Chelsea again linked with Aguero

Some of the recent transfer speculation involving Chelsea.

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has again been linked with Chelsea, this time by The Sun.

There were reports recently that Aguero could be on his way out of City and might move to Stamford Bridge.

And The Sun claim he could make “sensational switch” to Chelsea.

The story is based on Sunbets offering odds of 4/1 on Aguero joining the Blues.

Courtois speculation

Thibaut Courtois continues to be linked with Real Madrid.

The Sun claim the Chelsea goalkeeper is already planning his summer move to Real and has told friends he is keen to join the Spanish club.

Real are said to targeting Courtois after apparently realising they are unlikely to be able to sign Manchester United’s David De Gea.

The Sun say Courtois is confident that Real will make a move for him this summer, especially given the recent poor form of the La Liga side’s current keeper Keylor Navas.

Donnarumma linked

The Independent have picked up on speculation in Italy that Chelsea could move for AC Milan’s 17-year-old goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Manchester United are also said to be interested in the teenager, with clubs said to have been alerted to Donnarumma seemingly stalling over signing a new contract.

It comes after his agent Mino Raiola suggested to Milan newspaper Il Giornale that Donnarumma’s future will not be decided until a proposed takeover at Milan is complete.

Blues discussing Begovic sale – Telegraph

The Telegraph say Chelsea have rejected an initial bid from Bournemouth for Asmir Begovic but could be willing to let the goalkeeper leave.

Negotiations between the two clubs are reportedly continuing and The Telegraph believe Bournemouth offered in the region of £10m for Begovic, 29, and have not given up hope of signing him.

The south-coast club could look to sign Begovic in the summer if they are unable to do so during this month’s transfer window, The Telegraph say.

Chelsea supposedly want Carrasco

The Daily Star have picked up on reports Chelsea want Atletico Madrid winger Yannick Carrasco – and claim the Blues could be willing to pay as much as £86m.

It comes after Spanish publication Don Balon claimed Chelsea are among a number of clubs interested in the 23-year-old.

Manchester City and Manchester United are also said to be interested in Carrasco, who in October extended his Atletico contract to 2022 and reportedly has an £86m buyout clause.

The Star claim Chelsea would be willing to spend that kind of sum in the summer and “could launch a hefty offer” for the Belgium international.

Antonio to get new deal – Guardian

Interest from Chelsea in Michail Antonio has promoted West Ham to offer him a new long-term contract, according to The Guardian.

It comes after recent reports that Chelsea were keen to sign the 26-year-old wide-man.

The Guardian say Antonio is in line for five-and-a-half-year deal worth £70,000 a week, which is apparently double his current salary.

Morata touted as Costa replacement

As speculation continues over Diego Costa’s future, Álvaro Morata has again been linked with a possible move to Chelsea, this time by the Daily Telegraph.

It comes after Costa was left out of the Blues squad for Saturday’s win at Leicester.

The Telegraph, which last week broke news of a fall-out involving Costa and boss Antonio Conte, says Real Madrid forward Morata is Conte’s preferred choice to replace Costa at Stamford Bridge in the summer.

The newspaper adds that Chelsea remain keen on their former striker Romelu Lukaku but that Everton’s valuation, which is apparently £70m, would need to come down in order for a deal to be possible.

Kondogbia linked

The Sun have picked up on reports in the French media that Chelsea have made enquiries about Geoffrey Kondogbia.

The Inter Milan midfielder has repeatedly been linked with a move to the Premier League.

It is claimed that both Chelsea and Liverpool have approached Inter about a potential deal.

Shaw thing?

Chelsea have been linked with a potential move for Luke Shaw.

According to The Independent, Manchester United are prepared to listen to offers for Shaw, 21, this summer.

Chelsea, who have previously been linked with him, and Tottenham are said to have been earmarked as possible buyers for the left-back.

Blues eyeing Traore, Sky say

Sky believe Chelsea are interested in Middlesbrough winger Adama Traore.

The 20-year-old, who started his career at Barcelona, only moved to the Riverside Stadium in the summer from Aston Villa.

Sky say Chelsea have made an enquiry about Traore’s availability ahead of a possible move.

Kenedy loan link

Chelsea winger Kenedy is being linked with a loan move back to his native Brazil.

The Daily Express, picking up on reports in Brazil, suggest the 20-year-old is a target for Flamengo.

Kenedy had an unsuccessful spell at Watford this season and was recalled by Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.
